Marktmuseum - Community Museum

The Community Museum at the Winterbaueranwesen (property name) is dedicated to local finds of the Stone Age, epochs such as the Roman Age, school stories and the residents of the Winterbaueranwesen (the museum building).

Handcraft, trade and town history (declaration of municipality, legends, religion, associations, historical buildings etc.) are presented in this museum. Special focus is put on the history of forced migration from Eastern and East Central Europe to Germany, depicted lively in a film by living survivors.
