Spielzeug & Figuren Museum anno dazumal - Toy Museum

At the Toy Museum Beilngries on the top floor of a former Franciscan abbey, all kinds of old toys have been assembled.

The exhibition includes model railroads, toys made of tinplate, doll’s kitchens and pedal cars. Of course, quite a few pieces will be known to some of the visitors from their own childhood.

A pretty railroad arrangement of enormous proportions makes hearts beat faster, not necessarily only those of the small and big boys among the visitors! For families, a visit to this diversified museum is a special experience, especially in those parts of the exhibition where children can get active and try out some of the toys.
